Pakistan's so called biggest telecommunication company PTCL is involved in a serious crime and stealing from their customers. We received many complaints related to the slow speed of PTCL network and found out on investigation that they automatically downgraded the connections (2 MB to 1 MB) withoutletting the customers know and kept on charging the 2 MB amount.
We were shocked to know that a big company like PTCL is involved in a fraudulent activity of stealing money from their customers. When we contacted the persons from PTCL, at first they denied but when we asked them repeatedly they admitted that they downgraded the connectionswithout letting the customers know and started giving illogical explanations like they were testing something. When we asked them that why they did it for over a month and kept on charging the original amount, they did not answer that.
We want to tell the officials at PTCL that their might be some people who do not notice these type of changes but you cannot steal from everyone. Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) should take a serious notice of these fraudulent activities by PTCL. Additionally, PTCL customers are advised to check their internet speed from any authentic speed test website or apps as well.
